We know that sickness or being homebound can be lonely and difficult. Perhaps this is why Jesus told us that visiting the sick is a work of mercy to do for our fellow brothers and sisters. As one of the largest generations in the United States ages, the number of Catholics that are homebound is increasing. The genuine need many Catholics have for prayer visits, company, and Communion for the sick/homebound is ever present. This is why we need the help of compassionate individuals who have a deep love for our Eucharistic Lord. Individuals who participate in this ministry will visit those who are sick or homebound in a variety of settings such as homes, hospitals, nursing/long-term-care facilities, etc. We are looking for volunteers who will bring companionship and prayer, joy, and encouragement. Additionally, we are looking for volunteers who are trained and willing to bring Communion to those they visit.  Please contact our parish office for further information on how you can help.
